Cupping therapy
Cupping therapy is a type of alternative therapy that originated in China. These are the place on the skin to create suction. Sucking can facilitate recovery from the blood flow.
Cupping increases blood circulation where they are placed. It can relieve muscle tension, which can improve general blood circulation.
Introduction to Cupping: (3 p.m.)
Teachers: Julie Leroux (traditional suction cups) and Catherine Gagnon (plastic and silicone suction cups)
Prerequisites: be a massage therapist, physiotherapist, orthotherapist, osteopath or any other manual therapy
Goals: Discover its ancient Asian tools. In this introduction, we will see how to use the different types of suction cups (silicone, plastic with pump, and glass).

Articular Mobilization Workshops




The aim of these workshops is to allow the student to better understand the notion of joint restriction, to be able to identify an area of joint hypomobility and then to mobilize in a specific way in order to obtain a gain in mobility.
The mobilization work is slow and aims to do " to move »A hypomobile joint area without the aim of correcting the alignment of the spine or other pathologies.
The workshops are divided into 9 body segments: (8h each workshop)
1- The foot and ankle
2- the knee
3- The hip (coxofemoral)
4- The lumbar spine (and pelvis)
5- The thoracic spine
6- The cervical spine
7- The grip and the hand
8- The elbow
9- The shoulder (the shoulder girdle)
